I just wanted to update everyone on the damage that was done to the church during the recent storm. First, we are thankful that no one was injured in Lamesa that we know of, praise God! The damage was contained to the exterior of the building. Very little water made it into the building. The roof will need to be replaced as well as the siding. The building has been temporarily fixed so no water will make it into the building. Our billboard was blown down as well. The damage to the parsonage was to the roof and trees.
We have contacted some relief organizations and we are working on getting some help repairing everything. We will need to raise the money to pay for the materials and the hope is that we can have some mission teams help with the repairs. If you have any questions contact Al. Blessings.
